Extension of the existing Tate Modern Gallery located inside the former Bankside Power Station. The project includes a ten-storey tower called the 'Switch House' and the transformation of the oil tanks in the basement.

V&A Courtyard & MultiPly / London / by Amanda Levete Architects and Waugh Thistleton
The sensitive redesign and extension of the courtyard of the Victoria & Albert Museum by ALA hosted a temporary pavilion, realised as a wooden structure designed by Waugh Thistleton and ARUP.
Two completely different architectural concepts interact in this setting.
